KIRKLAND!
We (Vanessa and Voop) are your BLGTS Tutors for the 2009-2010 academic year, and we are super excited to be here.

Our aim is to create a fun, open, supportive and comfortable space for students around issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. Please feel free to talk to us about anything and everything queer-related, including: coming out, harassment, family issues, being out in the workplace, health concerns, dating, and anything else you can think of.  We will be planning events throughout the school year, sometimes in conjunction with student organizations or other houses, so drop us a line if you have an idea about a possible event...we'd love to make it happen!

Please know that you don't need to be B, G, L, or T to talk to us...you don't need to "be" anything. We are happy to talk if you want to know more about how to be a better friend and ally to BGLT students, if you are interested in queer history and politics, or you just have questions about our lives and experiences.

In summary...we're here, we're extremely queer, and we're in D-11.  Stop by anytime.

Harvard QSA The QSA is an organization concerned with improving the visibility, strength, and support of the Harvard-Radcliffe undergraduate bisexual, gay, lesbian, transgender and queer communities in recognition of the marginalization and oppression that exists as a result of stigmatization of queer sexuality and gender. This group seeks to promote community awareness of the social, political, education, and cultural issues surrounding queer identities and sexualities in the form of meetings, discussions, conferences, speaker events, cultural exhibitions in various media, and activism. BOND (Building on Diversity) BOND stands for Building on Diversity. We are an undergraduate organization dedicated to providing a social space for all students in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. Our specific goal is to create a supportive environment for students who do not identify as exclusively heterosexual and for all their friends and supporters. Through various social events, such as parties and study breaks, BOND strives to create a space where its members can meet and communicate with each other in an atmosphere where the pursuit of friendship or intimacy requires neither hiding nor proclamation. We hope that you will join us for one of our many events throughout the year. Come to meet fun, interesting, and intelligent people who share your interests and experiences. Please subscribe to our confidential mailing list to receive announcements about our social and outreach event. Website: http://hcs.harvard.edu/~bond/
