Reserve the Grille, Media Room (L Entry), or Seminar Room (K Entry).
The K seminar room, Grille and Media Room may be reserved in Kirkland House. (read details below). In addition, keys to the downstairs music rehearsal rooms (B & C) are available on an ad hoc basis in the Building Manager's office. The JCR, SCR, and Private (small) Dining Room cannot be reserved for individual student groups.

JCR & SCR
The Kirkland Junior Common Room (JCR) is the House living room. It is a large room intended for informal gatherings of students. It contains comfortable furniture and two grand pianos. Kirkland students are encouraged to use the room any time.
The Kirkland Senior Common Room (SCR) is a small room containing comfortable furniture and a small kitchen. It can accommodate approximately 20-30 persons.
This year, the JCR & SCR will be used only for Kirkland House events and those sponsored by the Masters. They may not be reserved for student group events or meetings.

For weekly meetings, groups may use the K seminar room (located in the basement of K entryway in the Annex). This room has a large table, chairs and a blackboard and can hold approx. 15 stdts. Use the new online reservation calendar to check on availability.
Groups are responsible for the space they reserve. This includes putting the furniture back as it was found, collecting & disposing of trash.
Kirkland House has one guest suite with two twin beds that may be booked by Kirkland students and Senior Common Room members for guests for short-term stays (several days at most). The fee is $75 per night and can be paid in cash or with a check made payable to Harvard University (credit cards cannot be accepted).
Please make reservations by emailing kiadmin at fas.harvard.edu. Reservations can be confirmed no earlier than two months in advance. The suite may be reserved for special guests, parents, or visiting faculty and may not always be available due to prior bookings. When it is available, however, it provides convenient and reasonable accommodations. Guests should report to the Building Manager’s Office upon arrival to pick up a key, swipe card, and invoice.
