Hey Kirk!  I'm the tutor in DeWolfe, along with my HoCo Great-Granddaughter Marie.  I grew up in Cupertino, CA, graduated Harvard in 2011 (Statistics concentrator, English secondary, French citation), and then lived and worked in Toronto for a year.  I'm currently a PhD student in statistics at UNC Chapel Hill - I'll be writing my dissertation long distance, so stop by and say hi if you see me typing away in the dining hall late into the night.  This arrangement is made possible by an NSF Graduate Fellowship, and I'm happy to discuss the fellowship or graduate school in general if you're thinking of applying.  In addition to being your personal stats guru, I am an IMs tutor and the Outings tutor.  I'd love to chat with you about your tricky stats problems, outings ideas, and plans for bringing the Straus Cup back home where it belongs.  My other passions include board games, cheese, Humanism, concerts, the San Jose Sharks, Harry Potter, tea, and Bollywood.  I also possess a bizarre collection of Kirkland trivia (who was the first SM?  where is JTK buried?  why do we eat pelican?) that I might be persuaded to share.
