Mai Anh Huynh
Tutor In: Pre-Med
I was born and raised in Evansville, IN--a year to the day my family left Vietnam as part of a wave of "boat people." A Hoosier at heart, I nevertheless like Harvard enough to stay on at HMS for my MD-PhD after graduating from Kirkland in 2004. I spent my undergrad summers doing my thesis research in structural biology in Cambridge, UK. I did my PhD in Neurobiology, my intern year at Mass General Hospital, and am currently in my fourth year of residency in the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program. Throughout all of these phases of training, my role as a Kirkland House tutor has been a welcome constant in my life, and I continue to enjoy being of help however I can. Please feel free to come chat with me about anything and everything, whether it's medicine, research, celebrity gossip, or whatever else is on your mind.
