Tutor In: Pre-Med, Chemistry
Hey there Kirkland House! I’m the M-entry resident tutor as well as one of the pre-med tutors. Originally from India and New Jersey, I am MD student in the joint HST program between HMS and MIT. I am currently taking a research year between by 3rd and 4th years of med school. I graduated from Harvard (and Kirkland!) in 2013 and concentrated in MCB with a GHHP secondary. During my undergraduate years, I spent most of my time on Dharma, the Hindu Students’ Association, teaching/tutoring various chem courses, and Alzheimer’s disease research at Brigham and Women’s. I also got to spend a summer in Chile! During med school, I've done some translational research related to the treatment of neuroblastoma at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and served on a medical education curriculum committee. I have interests in science education, and sports (especially the Red Sox!). I'm also a huge TV and movie watcher. Please do say hello if you spot me or sit with me in the D-Hall any time! I’m looking forward to meeting everyone in Kirkland, a true home away from home.
