Tutor In: French Table, Fellowships, SASH, Arts Outings, Writing
I’m very happy to be back for my second year at Kirkland as the J-Entryway tutor! I’m a Ph.D. student in Romance Languages and Literatures, and my research is on depictions of bodies, emotions like disgust, and encounters with alterity in nineteenth-century French literature. I graduated from Georgetown, where I double-majored in French and English and wrote a thesis for each major. I’ve worked at Good Housekeeping magazine in NYC and lived abroad in Lyon, Avignon, and Florence. I’m a novice podcast-listener, but a longtime dog-lover. I also enjoy weightlifting, backpacking, and good conversation—so say hi, join me for a meal, and let’s talk!
