Kirkland's 2023-24 Pre-Career Non-Resident Tutors:

Bryce Headshot

Hey Kirkland! My name is Bryce Kim (bkim@jd25.law.harvard.edu) and I’m a 2L at Harvard Law School and am excited to return to K-House as a non-resident pre-law tutor. I’m a Kirkland alum and a 2022 graduate from the College, concentrating in History with a Secondary in European History, Politics, and Societies (EHPS). At Harvard, I was involved in Army ROTC, PBHA (Mission Hill Afterschool Program, Alternative Spring Break, and SCAS), the IRC (HMUN, HNMUN, BoD), and the Running Club. Having just gone through the process last year, I’m proof of the effectiveness of Kirkland pre-law tutoring and I can try to offer some fresh advice about anything related to the application process, from the LSAT to school-specific vibes. Outside of school-related talk, I’m happy to chat about pretty much any sport invented under the sun or debate the legitimacy of title claims in House of the Dragon. Looking forward to talking with you all!

Hi Kirkland! My name is Josh Alpert (jalpert@jd24.law.harvard.edu). I'm a 3L at Harvard Law School and I'm excited to join Kirkland this year as a non-resident pre-law tutor. I graduated from Moorpark College with an A.A. history and sociology before transferring to U.C. Berkeley where I graduated with a B.A in history. In college, I was involved in competitive collegiate debate, saying many whacky things at ludicrous speed. At HLS, I am involved with the Disabled Law Students Association (“DLSA”), Harvard Human Rights Journal (“HHRJ”) and Harvard Defenders. In my free time, you can find me: reading post-modern philosophy, playing chess, PC gaming, watching all the shows, and baking. I look forward to meeting with you all!
