Clayton is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology with a secondary field in Studies of Women, Gender, & Sexuality at Harvard University, and he is excited to be joining Kirkland House as a first-year Resident Tutor! Clayton hails from the suburbs of Kansas City, and he graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in International and Area Studies with a minor in Sociology. Before starting graduate school, Clayton worked as a Research Associate at Cornell University and Duke University, where he focused on improving the quality and utility of national child welfare data. In his free time, Clayton enjoys trivia, hiking, and tennis (he even got a chance to attend Wimbledon this year). He is so excited to meet everyone and experience the magical community of Kirkland!
