Resident Tutor G-23 Tutor in: Pre-Career, Race Relations, International Experience
Hi there Kirklanders! I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Harvard in 2010. Afterward, I spent five years in NYC in investment banking at Barclays Capital and then at an education nonprofit called the Harlem Children's Zone where my focus was on operational strategy and program innovation. I am currently a graduate student at Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School in the MPP/MBA program entering my 3rd and final year. I have one year under my belt as a Kirkland tutor focused on career paths, race relations and study abroad experiences. My first love is dance - I've tried countless forms - and also love to chat about food, share funny stories about my seven other siblings, discuss how to we can improve equality of opportunity for all young people, and learn more about cool and interesting people - like you! Hi Kirkland! I’m super excited to be the M-entry tutor, as well as one of your Pre-Careers, Fellowships, and Race Relations tutors. A native of South Florida, I’m currently a PhD student in Organizational Behavior, a joint program between HBS and the Department of Sociology. My research interests include entrepreneurship, organizational change/transformation, and diversity & inclusion. Before starting my PhD, I graduated from Harvard College (Social Studies), and worked at Microsoft in product marketing and Pearson PLC in product strategy for ed tech. Come say “hey!” if you spot me around or sit with me in the D-hall any time! I’d be happy to chat about life at Harvard and beyond, including careers (especially “non-conventional” paths), fellowships, guilty-pleasure shows you’re binging, de-stressing, or anything else you think I’d be able to help with!
