Hey Kirkland House! I grew up in Boulder, Colorado and have always loved outdoor pursuits like hiking, camping, surfing, and fishing. I went to American University in DC for undergrad, where I studied foreign policy and Russian language. I traveled extensively in college and immediately after graduation, spending time in Russia, Brazil, and Azerbaijan. After coming back to the States, I worked for my dad's roofing company for a year while training for Marine Officer Candidate School. I then spent time on active duty in Texas, Hawaii, and Virginia. My most recent assignment was with an artificial intelligence project at the Pentagon, and in the past few years I have developed a passion for technology policy. I am an incoming Mid-Career Master in Public Administration student, and this will be my first semester as a tutor. I look forward to meeting all of you and building community together in Kirkland!

Hi Kirkland! I'm excited to return to Kirkland this year for my second year as a resident tutor, living in I Entryway with Wilson. I'm currently a software engineer at a local startup called RxSense, where I arrived after spending two and half years at Microsoft post graduation in 2017. As an undergraduate, I was involved in house committee, intramurals, teaching (CS51 and CS61), and advising (as a PAF for 3 years), and now as a tutor I focus on the Pre-Career team, IMs, and brew club/beer seminar. Outside of that, I like to bike, hammock, and enjoy all that Boston has to offer. Can't wait to meet all of you and welcome you into the Kirkland community!

Hi Kirkland! I am so excited to be returning as a tutor in J entryway with my partner, Taylor! I am a PhD candidate in Organizational Behavior at Harvard Business School. My dissertation explores how women and racial minorities collectively organize around their identities at work and attempt to make their workplaces more inclusive. I’m excited to be on the pre-career, public service, and music teams here in Kirkland. I’m originally from Houston, Texas, and I will always talk to you about why Houston is amazing (e.g., Beyoncé, food, the Rockets). I have work experience in education, the performing arts, political campaigns, and ministry.
