I am a first-year Ph.D. student in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and a tutor in N-entryway along with my partner, Spencer Smith. Before Harvard, I completed a master's degree in economics at the Paris School of Economics and worked at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) in Santiago, Chile. I also spent a year managing an experiment about remittances in the migrant communities outside of Washington, D.C. In my spare time, I enjoy travel, classical music, and running. I can't wait to meet everyone at Kirkland! Read more about Kevin Carney
Hello, Kirkland! I'm a first-year law student and a tutor in N-entryway together with my partner, Kevin Carney. Before I arrived at Harvard, I studied economics at the University of Oxford on a Marshall Scholarship. Prior to that, I worked for the President's Council of Economic Advisers and the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. If you want to talk about economics or politics, come find me! I grew up near the sandy beaches and beautiful waters of Lake Michigan, and I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2011. I'm a Midwesterner through and through, but I love to travel. I also enjoy cooking, hiking, and relaxing with my family (especially my nieces, who share my sense of humor). See you in the dining hall!
